Chrysocephalum Aussie Reflection 140MM

Chrysocephalum apiculatum 'CAP07' 'Aussie Reflection'
Product code: CHRAUR14S Barcode: 9319711059537

I am Chrysocephalum Aussie Reflection. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

Habit Groundcover - Lives longer
Plant family Asteraceae
I am an Australian native groundcover with soft silvery foliage and vibrant yellow flowers that are produced most of the year. My pretty flowers attract native pollinators, while my seeds feed other beneficial insects. Unlike most other varieties, I use stolon and rhizomes to cover the ground, so I am more likely to bounce back after drought, frost and flooding. I am versatile and can be used in native gardens, growing beside retaining walls, on green roofs, in rockeries, and in decorative pots or containers. Hardy I am tolerant of heat, frost and drought. I will bounce back from periodic flooding, but avoid giving me sustained wet feet. Prune my older foliage back as new shoots emerge. You can also trim my spent flowers over summer for a more beautiful display.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
I live longer & bounce back from tough conditions that kill most wildflowers
My vibrant yellow flowers bloom most of the year & attract native pollinators
Hardy and adaptable I am just as happy garden planted as in a container
